Aerobic Exercise


This shallow water workout involves upper and lower body movements that will improve flexibility, agility, strength, balance and coordination.  You determine your own intensity by how hard you manipulate the water.  Noodles and dumbbells are used to increase flexibility and strength.  This class is for males and females and adaptations are made to suit all levels of ability.  Come and share the benefits a water workout has for you!   Class begins September 29 at the YMCA on Route 286.

Get up and go with an aerobics class that is safe, heart healthy and gentle on the joints.  The workout includes easy-to-follow, low-impact movement and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle.  Class begins September 28 at Dean’s Health & Fitness Center, 4540 Wm. Zumba Gold is for the active adult population.   It addresses the anatomical, physiological and psychological needs specific to the active older adult.  This program fuses Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away.  We want you to want to work out, to love working out and to get hooked. Classes will be held at Dean’s Health & Fitness Center, 4540 Wm. Penn Hwy., Murrysville.
