BARRE

Barre Fit can strengthen, lengthen and sculpt your entire body to get a sleek dancer-like physique. This low impact, light cardio workout starts with the kettlebell for strength, moves to ballet inspired sculpting moves for the legs, hips and butt and finishes with abdominal work and stretching. No dance experience is required as you move to upbeat music and get “Barre Fit”. Classes will be held at Dean’s Health & Fitness Center, 4540 Wm. Penn Hwy., Murrysville.

H.I.I.T TRAINING

High Intensity Interval Training is a challenging, fun 45-minute class consisting of strength/cardio training/balance/core/flexibility. It is time-efficient and helps to build a healthier heart, lose weight (not muscle) and increase your metabolism. “Burn fat, not muscle.” Classes will be held at Dean’s Health & Fitness Center, 4540 Wm. H.I.T.T. 30

Ages in this class range from 35-75. The latest on health and wellness says everyone should participate in some type of high intensity interval training for maximum heart and health benefits. This class modifies all the moves to work for the participant. All levels of fitness work together and motivate each other to become a little stronger every week. PILATES

POWER KICKBOXING (GLOVES OFF)

This class is all about building confidence and learning how to create power behind your punch. Taught by a blackbelt in Tang Soo Do (a woman), this course will empower women to find their strength and learn how to stand in their own space. Boxing sequences, cardio, partner work and proper kicking techniques are some of the skills taught in this class. This class involves multiple exercise approaches to sculpt and condition your body. Each week this class will keep your body guessing with a combination of Hi-Lo aerobics, Step, Kickboxing, Bosu, light-weight lifting and much more. All levels. SILVERSNEAKERS “CLASSIC”

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available, if needed, for seated or standing support. TRX – CORE ‘N MORE

Did you know a strong core can help you with back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, etc.? This TRX Suspension Training class is a six-week, step-by-step process into teaching you how to truly use your core. In six weeks, you will go through a step-by-step process to a stronger you. Try something different and see success this year. This class requires floor work. You should be able to hold plank on the floor for 30 seconds to be successful in this class.
