BARRE

Barre Fit can strengthen, lengthen and sculpt your entire body to get a sleek dancer like physique.  This low impact, light cardio workout starts with the kettlebell for strength, moves to ballet inspired sculpting moves for the legs, hips and butt and finishes with abdominal work and stretching.  No dance experience is required as you move to upbeat music and get “Barre Fit”.  Classes will be held at Dean’s Health & Fitness Center, 4540 Wm. H.I.I.T TRAINING

High intensity interval training is a challenging, fun 45-minute class consisting of strength/cardio training/balance/core/flexibility.  It is time efficient and helps to build a healthier heart, lose weight, not muscle and increase your metabolism.  “Burn fat not muscle.”  TWO SESSIONS PER WEEK.  Classes will be held at Dean’s Health & Fitness Center, 4540 Wm. Penn Hwy., Murrysville.

PILATES 

Pilates uses flowing movements to improve posture and alignment, strengthen abdominals and back, increase flexibility and range of motion and tone the entire body.  This class is suitable for all fitness levels and will help you feel stronger and more focused and aware of your muscles.   Classes will be held at Dean’s Health & Fitness Center, 4540 Wm. SCULPT/PUMP & TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING

This class involves multiple exercise approaches to sculpt and condition your body.  Each week this class will keep your body guessing with a combination of Hi-Lo aerobics, Step,  Kickboxing, Bosu, light-weight lifting and much more.  All levels.  Classes will be held at Dean’s Health & Fitness Center, 4540 Wm. SILVERSNEAKERS  “CLASSIC”

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance.  A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.   Class begins March 5 at Dean’s Health & Fitness Center, 4540 Wm. TRX SUSPENSION TRAINING, INTRODUCTION TO 

Introduces you to the basic mechanics of using the TRX to learn set-up, distance and form.  Learn how to engage your core on every exercise.  Every suspension training exercise builds true functional strength for everyday living activities, improves flexibility, balance and core stability all at once.  This class is a personal training experience which teaches you to work at your own level in a group environment.  Your technique will be assessed to bring you the best possible results.  This class requires floor work.  Feel and see change in six classes.    Classes will be held at Murrysville Sportszone Arena (behind Sheetz), 4491 School Rd. WALKFIT

Looking for a fun way to get your steps in?  This is everyone’s favorite class, simple but effective.  Can be adapted to all fitness levels.  This 45-minute class is constant movement and can be done with light or no weights.  It will increase your heart rate, strengthen and tone your muscles and get you on track to a healthier lifestyle.  You will burn more calories than you will walking on a tread mill and have fun while doing it.  Beginner to medium fitness level (no floor work).  Classes will be held at Murrysville Sportszone Arena (behind Sheetz), 4491 School Rd. S., Murrysville.
