HERB GARDEN

Learn how to grow your own herb garden so you can enjoy that fresh taste all spring/summer long.  It is easy.  Also, we will learn how to dry, freeze and store herbs.  Class will be held April 10.

HOW TO BUILD A TERRARIUM

Terrariums are decorative glass jars with lids.  You build your plant garden inside to last for many months or years with very little care.  Instructor will provide charcoal, drainage cloth and potting soil.  After registration students will be emailed a list of items to bring to class, including the plants used.  If no email address is provided, call instructor for the list, 724-863-5643.  Tuition includes the cost of the charcoal, drainage cloth and soil.  Class will be held March 6.

HOW TO BUILD SUCCULENT DISHES

Succulent dish gardens will bring beauty to any room.  You will learn how to plant succulents in attractive containers that complement the room they will be displayed in.  After registration students will be emailed a list of items to bring to class, including the succulent plants and the dish used.  If no email address is provided, call 724-863-5643 for the list.   Please pay the material fee of $3.00 to the instructor.  Class will be held March 13.

KNOW YOUR NATIVE WILDFLOWERS

This course is a power point presentation by Murrysville’s Volunteer Coordinator of Parks.  There will also be a discussion of where to see these flowers and when best to see them.  Class will be held April 23.

NATIVE PLANTS  FOR YOUR GARDEN

See a power point presentation given by Murrysville’s Volunteer Coordinator of Parks.  You will learn about native plants for your garden and which plants are best for a butterfly garden.  You will also learn how to attract monarch butterflies.  Class will be held April 16.
