BEYOND CANCER:THE POWERFUL EFFECT OF PLANT-BASED EATING

An overview about the powerful effect of food choices in preventing, fighting and even reversing cancer.  Included will be information on how to adopt plant-based eating to optimize cancer survival and long-term health.  Class will be held March 27.

CPR & AED CERTIFICATION  (FOR GENERAL PUBLIC)

This class includes CPR and Automatic Electronic Defibulator (AED) training and certification.  Participants will learn infant, child and adult CPR, how to clear an obstructed airway and how to use the AED.  In addition to tuition fee, material fee of  $35.00 is to be paid to instructor for the booklet.  Class will be held March 17 at Murrysville Medic One, 3237 Sardis Rd., Murrysville.

DESTRESSING IN A STRESSFUL WORLD

Learn many techniques to lower your stress level which will also have has many health benefits too.  We will learn deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation and other simple techniques that you can use and teach others.  Wear comfortable clothing, bring water and a mat.  Class begins April 4 at Laird Hall, First Presbyterian Church, 3202 N. HOSPICE:THE MEANING AND VALUE OF A UNIQUE MODEL OF CARE

Our educational journey will explore the value of hospice.  This course is an interdisciplinary approach to hospice care for the body,  mind and spirit of the patient and their loved ones.  The presentation will dispel hospice myths and rumors and clarify hospice facts.  Class will be held April 25.
