LAW OF LIVING WILL, LIVING TRUST AND DURABLE POWER OF ATTORNEY

Living wills for eliminating medication care during terminal illness. Living trust – pros and cons – as an alternative to probate. Durable power of attorney to avoid a guardianship proceeding. Class will be held April 29.

LAW OF WILLS AND ESTATE PLANNING

Legal requirements for a will and estate plan; handwritten wills; consequences of death without a will; status of jointly owned property; guardianship and trust for minor children; tax avoidance trusts; selecting an executor; probate and administration of estate. Class will be held April 25.

WHAT TO DO WHEN A LOVED ONE DIES

Practical and legal advice will be provided to keep a sad event from becoming even more painful. Issues will range from providing a proper tribute, to closing bank accounts, to canceling a gym membership. Class will be held May 2.
