Living wills for eliminating medication care on terminal illness. Living trust – pros and cons- as alternative to probate. Druable power of attorney to avoid a guardianship proceeding. Class will be held September 26.

LAW OF WILLS AND ESTATE PLANNING

Legal requirements for a will and estate plan: handwritten wills; consequences of death without a will; status of jointly owned property; guardianship and trust for minor children; tax avoidance trusts; selecting an executor; probate and administration of estate.  Class will be held September 19.

WHAT TO DO WHEN A LOVED ONE DIES

Practical and legal advice will be provided to keep a sad event from becoming even more painful.  Issues will range from providing a proper tribute, to closing bank accounts, to canceling a gym membership.  Class will be held October 3.
