This interactive exercise-filled workshop covers the foundation of creative problem solving (CPS) and offers effective techniques in idea generation, brainstorming and the secret ingredient in starting the CPS process.  Class will be held September 21 at the Murrysville Community Center, 3091 Carson Ave., Murrysville

CLIMBING YOUR FAMILY TREE—BEGINNING GENEALOGY

An introduction to the process involved in searching for family roots: how to find the who, when and where of your family!  Beginning with information gathering from family tradition and oral history interviews, the methodology of recording, organizing and storing your family history is reviewed.  Resources discussed will include census schedules, vital records and courthouse resources, church and cemetery records, military records and immigration and naturalization. Bring your lap top if possible.  Class will begin September 18 (no class 10/9, last class 10/16) at the Murrysville Community Library, Meeting Rm., 4130 Sardis Rd., Murrysville.

An enjoyable trek into fly fishing SW Pennsylvania waters and more.  This course is a must for first-timers and experienced anglers alike.  Rods, reels, tackle, flies, techniques, gear, hatch charts, maps, parking spots, GPS coordinates—everything you need for your own private excursions will be covered.  EQUIPMENT NOT INCLUDED.  Class begins September 19 at the Murrysville Community Center, 3091 Carson Ave., Murrysville.
